I-Han Fu is a Taiwanese-born, Finnish-based conductor, and multi-faceted percussion player. In 2023, he starts the position of principal percussionist in Oulu Sinfonia, Finland.
I-Han started his music career at an early age. With a strong interest and passion for diverse musical styles, he possesses the ability to play multiple instruments. Since moving to Europe in 2012, he has managed to unify the deep influence of his Asian roots with his time spent in Europe; he strives to embody a great intercultural spirit in his artistic work.

I-Han is a multi-talented percussion player. He is an excellent orchestral and ensemble percussionist and a world percussion player specializing in playing the Cajon and the Indian tabla. I-Han finished his BA degree in percussion in Taiwan and received his MA degree from Conservatorium van Amsterdam in 2015. His remarkable talent and ability have allowed him to perform all over the world with distinguished orchestras and ensembles. Apart from performing, I-Han is often invited as a lecturer and guest teacher in several festivals and masterclasses.
I-Han has participated in several albums that were awarded and nominated for the Grammy award, ICMA award, and the New York Times best classical music award. In 2023, he released an EP album 'MIR ' with MIR Trio.
After his debut with the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra in 2018 in the chamber music festival, he has conducted several high-quality orchestras in Europe such as Helsinki Philharmonic, Tapiola Sinfonietta, Kuopio Symphony Orchestra, Oulu Sinfonia, Kymi Sinfonietta, Lahti Sinfonia, Norwegian Radio Orchestra, Südwestdeutsche Philharmonie Konstanz, and the BBC Singers. In the 2017-18 season, he was appointed as the assistant conductor of the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra. I-Han received his master’s orchestra conducting diploma from Sibelius Academy, Finland in 2020.
